Ok, so this blogging thing is new to me. I’m not a huge fan of the whole blogging thing. I never owned a diary…and I find this to be just about as weird. I don’t think I’m a huge fan of blogs really, though occasionally I find and read a good blog written by some expert on something (if anyone knows of any they think i would like, let me know!). Generally I don’t like blogs because there usually loaded with some assclown’s opinion on life or some topic that they have become self-proclaimed experts on. Usually no one other than other assclowns care to read that junk. You wont find that here. hopefully, and if I step outa line…slap me with a comment.
So why am i doing this? Well there are web logs (I don’t even like the word ‘blog’) out there that are very helpful and I like web development and software in general. So much actually that i went and spent a few years on getting a degree in computer science and minor in math/stats! So I decided to start a few mainly open source projects in order to sorta “give back” for all the help I received over the years from very patient developers in person and online :). This Development log will help me 1) Keep on track with project goals by making myself update this blog at least once a week, 2) Allow me to think out loud for people looking to learn or for phalanx updates and get user feedback, and 3) Allow me to help as many people as I can as I will do my best to reply to most people’s questions in the comments.
So this post was just to give a quick intro and I’m excited and looking forward to working on the Phalanx Design project with everyone. Stay tuned for project details and plans sometime this week or next week!
Kareem,
